Tantra is a potent field. What makes it so potent is that it works directly with the life-force energy, known traditionally as “Shakti”. This energy is sourced from the sexual center and is more commonly known as sexual life force energy.  This energy can rise to higher levels than just sexuality alone. This ancient Sanskrit word can be translated as “energy” but also as “power”, highlighting the fact that this energy is extremely powerful.
